Hello, new friend in Austria! This metal 2nd Bias Transfer roller is designed to help prolong the life of the 2nd BTR Assembly, especially when you are using coated paper in the DC700 / 550 / C60 - 2nd BTR Assemblies. Reports from the field say that the metal roller lasts longer than the usual rubbery black roller that comes in the OEM assemblies.
Note: Never use metal rollers when running NCR paper. The chemicals in NCR paper will accumulate on metal rollers and ruin them very quickly.
